Changing leaves, football, pumpkins, cool mornings, hay rides, fair, boiled peanuts, Halloween….did I already say boiled peanuts? I just love this time of the year. It is definitely my favorite! Over the weekend we went to the pumpkin patch with some friends of ours and Roman had a blast! His age right now is perfect… I wish I could freeze time!
Growing up, every year my parents would take us to Burt’s Pumpkin Farm. I have three brothers so anytime we went anywhere it was a production, and we were always late everywhere we went. It was complete chaos with yelling, laughing, fighting but in a weird way it was perfect.
Now doing family rituals like going to the pumpkin patch with my one son makes me appreciate my parents… a whole lot. I am truely a blessed gal, and the older I get the more I realize it!
Yes it was bright…but come on honey open your eyes a little more than that! 😉
He has gotten so darn big!
I was trying to get him to do a picture with me and well…. I think he is already to “cool” for that. So in order to even be in the same frame with him we dance.
This is my favorite… it is so Roman! “Shake your booty Mommy.”
This is Elizabeth his buddy, and she is just a complete doll. Girls are SO different than boys…. so calm! Elizabeth found a dandy flower and was blowing off the petals.
And of course Roman steps in and “tries” to show her how it is done.
Yes the dust was crazy! We need some rain here in Georgia!
